Blogging more, coding less

At the moment it is quite obvious that I am not able to create and publish code examples even every month and not too many people want to publish own code examples here.

Sometime soon I am going to change this site concept a little bit and transform it into more blog-like thing. There will be code examples still and everybody will be able to publish them here. However, I will also discuss the coding-related things here and will publish links to the most interesting code examples on the other sites. Certainly, everybody is very much welcome to do the same.

What do you think about this idea? Will it work?

Perhaps providing an incentive like Eric (newlc.com) by given the posters money for the posts they provide. This has been a good site for tips. I believe simple code samples with comments on the how and why things are written they way they are would be awesome. This is a good site ... give things some more time.

Cheers.

In fact I didn't know that Eric provides incentives for posts :)

Actually I don't mind giving out to the author the AdSense generated by a contributed code example for, say, a year or two (in fact I don't mind giving it out for a lifetime, however, who knows what will happen with this site in two years). Certainly, there are some technical issues to solve and some concrete scheme to propose (e.g. give out ads embedded into the post, but not site-wide; e.g. share 70% of all the earnings), but it might be a good solution.

Do you think many people would contribute for the AdSense share? Dear readers of this site, would you publish some examples here on the AdSense-share basis?
